Dietary sugars are one of the main factors in the formation of tooth decay. Our new “Sugar Board” illustrates the amount of sugar found in a number of popular foods and drinks… Some of the results are quite shocking, particularly in those marketed towards children.
To keep your teeth healthy, limit sugary foods or drinks to mealtimes only and try not to snack between meals.
Don’t forget that what you drink also counts, so stick to tea, coffee (no sugar!) or plain water where possible and remember that plain water or milk are best for children.
Remember : a healthy mouth is a happy mouth! ????????
